We can provide permission to publish from collections only when Baker Library is the copyright holder. If we do not hold copyright, or if the use falls under fair use, you do not need, nor can we provide permission. We will not sign third-party permissions forms from publishers or other entities.

In many cases, Baker Library does not hold the copyright to its materials or they are in the public domain and, hence, we cannot grant or deny permission to use them. The responsibility for determining the copyright status of any materials you may wish to use and obtaining permission for the intended use rests solely with you. We have included the names of third-party copyright holders in collection guides when known.
