We advance the intellectual ambition of HBS faculty and doctoral students by providing leading- edge services at every stage of the research lifecycle.

Baker Research & Data Services (BRDS), a team of highly experienced business researchers and data specialists, assist HBS faculty, research associates, and doctoral students with a variety of analytical and data visualization services. We support research projects and publications using Baker collections as well as licensed and publicly available data.

We are based in Baker Library | Bloomberg Center 130, a space that houses research workstations with specialized software. Resources include:  ABBYY FineReader, ArcGIS, Capital IQ Plug-In, Crunchbase Premium, Morningstar Direct, SAS, SDC Platinum, StataMP, StatTransfer, Visio, and more.
