Visual Evidence

Visual materials bring a valuable new dimension to research, deepening understanding and appreciation of a topic by providing a first-hand connection to the subject. Visual evidence can also be a catalyst to inquiry, allowing a researcher to literally see potential new avenues of investigation. The extensive visual collections at Baker Library include lithographs, engravings, drawings, trade cards, broadsides, and photographs. The library is now actively seeking new visual resources to strengthen these important collections.
