Index constituents
Where can I find constituent lists and data for the S&P and other indices?
Current Constituent List
For a list of current index securities type EQS and hit GO. Screen by index.
After selecting index, click View Results.
On the subsequent screen, adjust the As Of date field as needed to pull constituents for a particular point in time.
Capital IQ (S&P 500 only)
Search for S&P 500
Choose constituents from left-hand menu
Export to Excel
LSEG Workspace (data may not be available for all indexes)
Search for index by name.
Hover over Constituents tab.
Select either Index Reports for a list of current companies, or Leavers and Joiners for a historical list of all companies that were added or removed from the index over time.
