Industry Reports and Market Data:

ABI/ProQuest
Contains in-depth research reports from First Research, Fitch Solutions, and other providers.

To browse industry reports:

• Click Browse in the top navigation bar.

• Expand Proquest One Business Featured Content.

• Select Industries.

• Click on Industry Reports tab.

• Browse by industry or report provider.

To search for industry reports:

• Click Advanced Search.

• Enter industry-related keywords into search bar.

• Use the Publication Date drop-down menu to add a date range.

• Under Document Type, select Industry Report.

• Click Search.

D&B Hoovers
Contains industry reports from Freedonia Focus and Euromonitor. Also includes RMA industry norms.

• From the homepage, scroll down and click Research Industries.

• Click Change to switch from Hoovers Industry Classifications to another system (e.g., NAICS), if desired

• Search for an industry or browse all industries.

• After making a selection, click View Results.

• Click again on the top-level industry category you selected.

• In the left-hand menu under Market Research, choose a specific report provider or click All Market Research.

• Sort your Results by geography, title, date published, or source.

GlobalData Disruptor
Covers technology-focused innovations and trends disrupting industries. Areas of focus include artificial intelligence, blockchain, connected devices and IoT, digital business, robotics and drones, and security tech.

• To explore industry information, use the Sectors tab from the top navigation menu.

• For trends and insights, select the Analysis tab. Frameworks for analysis include Innovation Landscapes, Consumer Insights, Thematic Analysis, Case Studies, and Models & Forecasts.

Statista
User-friendly aggregator of statistical data from more than 20,000 sources worldwide.

Search for statistics:

• Enter keywords in search box on home page, e.g. online travel booking China.

• Results are displayed as graphics, which can be downloaded as various file formats.

• Click Source to the right of the chart to view source description and link to the original source of the data.

Browse by industry:

• On the home page, choose Statistics from the top menu bar.

• Select an industry of interest to see most popular statistics and other highlights for each industry.

Industry News:

Nexis

• Enter industry keywords into main search bar on homepage.

• Within search bar, use dates drop-down to enter date range.

• Within search bar, click All Content Types, then select News. Select subcategories if desired (suggested subcategories: Newspapers and Industry Trade Press)

• Click the search icon.

ABI/ProQuest

• Click Advanced Search.

• Enter industry-related keywords into search bar.

• Use the Publication Date drop-down menu to add a date range.

• Under Source Type, select Newspapers and Trade Journals.

• Click Search.
