Dataset comprised of 14,165 companies owned by 445 impact investors seeking both financial returns and social impact globally.
This research enables the segmentation and analysis of the impact investing universe at a previously unprecedented level of depth and scope, with investor data drawn from Crunchbase, PitchBook, Preqin, Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ, VentureXpert, and individual company websites. A detailed description of the construction of the database has been published by Burton et al (2021).
