Baker Library Access Fees and Visitor Policies

Baker Library serves the Harvard Business School community, as well as Harvard University, our alumni, and researchers.
You will need a valid Harvard ID or Baker Access Card (with borrowing privileges) to borrow materials from Baker Library. Please see Borrowing Materials for details.

Visiting students (includes HU Summer School and non-degree Extension School):	$15/day or $60/month (30 days)	Valid student photo ID

Non-Harvard faculty	Free access	Valid faculty ID
Outside researchers and HU alumni	$50/day or $200/month (30 days)	Valid photo ID
Visitors using Boston Public Library materials housed at Baker	Free access for BPL material. $50/day or $200/month for use of any other Baker material.	Valid photo ID Must bring a referral letter from the Boston Public Library.
Visitors using National Endowment for the Humanities materials	Free access to NEH microfilm (as identified in the Baker Online Catalog). $50/day or $200/month for use of any other Baker material.	Valid photo ID

All visitors must present a current student or photo ID.
Visitors have in-library access to materials, including on-site access to databases designated for use by visitors. (Browse Database A-Z Listing for database access info.)

Purchase access cards at the Stamps Reading Room Service Desk, located on the third floor of Baker Library.
