Carbon pricing

Bloomberg: (in-library use)

• After login, type “CARBON” in command line at the top search box, and press <GO>, you will see a list of carbon-related functions. You can then go from there.

Note: LSEG does not have any North America compliance markets allowance prices. You will only find auctions prices.

Find carbon market data using the Carbon app:

• After login, type “CARBON” in the top search box to launch the app,

• Select a market (Default: Europe),

• Navigate to the Price tab.

• Moreover, to locate LSEG’s Carbon Market Year in Review report, click on the Analysis tab and in the left column, navigate to "Publications".

Or, find carbon data using the Energy Transition app

• Type “ETRANSITION” into the top search box to launch the app,

• Navigate to the Market Pricing tab,

• In the left column, select "Carbon Credits & Allowances" section for a consolidated view of pricing.

Find companies with internal carbon prices:

• Type “SCREENER” in the top search box to launch the app

• On the left column, select “Public & Private Companies” in the UNIVERSE drop-down menu

• Scroll down to find and click the three lines nest to launch the "Data Items Library" window

• In the window, select “Environmental, Social and Governance” > “Environmental Data Assurance Standard” > You may modify the “Parameters” as needed, or simply click “OK”

• Select Environmental Data Assurance Standard = “true” > click “Done”
