Introduction

This research portal offers an opportunity for scholars across disciplines to discover the wealth of materials at Baker Library relating to the South Sea Bubble. The Library holds one of the most extensive collections about the 1720 financial crisis, considered the first international stock market crash. Through the portal, researchers can explore an exhibition, use browse features to search the collection in depth, and find supplementary resources.
