Chrysler dealer delivers 47 cars in one day
1936 • Chrysler Corporation • Photographer unknown
What is believed to be a record for motor cars delivered to separate retail purchasers in a single day was achieved by Angeles Motors, Chrysler and Plymouth dealer of Los Angeles, California, on Christmas day, 1936. On that morning 47 new cars were placed in the hands of owners. They represented 47 distinct buyers, no two of whom were even in the same family.
