The Anthony family papers contain the records of Sarah P. Anthony of Providence, Rhode Island, including her accounts as executrix of her husband's estate (he died in 1836), and a receipt book she used to settle her husband's estate. Receipts show payments to a number of women, but in most cases do not describe what the payments were for. The collection also includes Sarah P. Anthony's grocery accounts and receipts, and estate records dating from after her death in 1845.
