|Deal Description||Commonwealth Edison Company added the net proceeds from this transaction to its working capital for ultimate application toward the cost of gross additions to the utility properties of the companies during the period from 1952-1955. The gross additions included electric generating stations, electric transmission and distribution facilities, gas storage and related facilities, gas-distribution facilities, and general plants. Based on the estimated peak load requirements at the time of the deal, it was expected that the completion of the construction program would provide additional reserve generating capacity.|
