About this Database

Provides restricted access to a wide range of non-public, longitudinal micro-data for economic, demographic, and healthcare censuses and surveys.

The Boston Census Research Data Center (BRDC) is a partnership between the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Open since 1994, the BRDC provides restricted access to unpublished micro-data for economic and demographic censuses and surveys. Information on the BRDC program can be found at the homepage of the Center for Economic Studies (CES), a research unit of the Office of the Chief Economist at the Census Bureau.
