Datastream Using Excel- Getting Started

Starting Out

• Open Excel.
• Click "Add-Ins" at the top of the screen.
• To the left of the screen click "Datastream-AFO". It should look something like the image below.)

• To make a "Static" or "Time Series" data request, select either of those items from the Datastream-AFO menu.
• For instructions on using these features see pages 6 and 10 of the Datastream User Guide. (NOTE: User Guide also available from Datastream-AFO pull-down menu. Click "Online Manuals" and select "User Guide".)
