A collection of receipts for purchases made by a Harvard professor and his family, collected during the mid-nineteenth century.

Two women appear among the receipts: Sophronia Hamblin and Mrs. Thomas Dooner. In 1877, Hamblin sold milk, eggs, potatoes, chicken, fish, peas, beans, corn, and beets to Mrs. Parsons, probably from her house or store in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Dooner sold milk and cream to Mrs. Parsons in 1878 and 1879.
