The Faulkner and Colony Manufacturing Company produced flannel and other woolen products in Keene, New Hampshire, from 1815 to 1948. The collection includes nineteenth-century wage and production records. Employees' account ledgers, payrolls, time books and production records by name record an increase in percentage of women workers from 1835 until the turn of the century, and also a shift in workers' surnames from English to French Canadian.
