The University Associates Trust, established in 1900 and terminated in 1958, was a real estate investment trust with extensive holdings in Cambridge, Boston, and Brookline, Massachusetts. Although the trust was entirely managed by men, many of the stockholders were socially prominent women in the Boston area. The collection contains lists of stockholders, cancelled stock certificates, and investment accounts. The collection also includes records of wills and trusts, which in some cases limited women's control of their assets.
