Ella Lyman Cabot (1866-1934) was a lecturer at Salem Normal School and the author of numerous books on civics and education. She was a beneficiary in the wills of Elizabeth Pratt, Mary Pratt, Robert Pratt, Elizabeth Sprague, Arthur T. Lyman (her father), and Julia Lyman. Her papers, from 1919 to 1936, include leases of her real estate, stock investments, tax records, and correspondence regarding her finances, which she managed herself.
