P. Correspondence, 1854-1928
This series is made up of correspondence of primarily the treasurer and agent, including their correspondence with each other. The agent's records also include general business and personal correspondence to and from him. The treasurer's files contain correspondence on financial matters concerning the mills including purchases and costs. There is substantial correspondence to and from Minot, Hooper & Company, selling agents, and the Lyman Mills agent. There is a smaller amount of correspondence between Minot, Hooper and the Lyman Mills treasurer. These letters discuss orders, customer comments and complaints and general business matters.

This series contains samples and suggestion samples of plain and fancy goods.
S. Stephen Holman Papers, n.d., 1847-1858
This series is made up of papers of an early agent and promoter of the company. It includes letters to him from family and business associates, correspondence concerning drafts on Western Bank of Scotland, legal papers and receipts and bills. T. Deane Steam Pump Company, Holyoke, Mass., 1896-1897
Theophilus Parsons, a treasurer of Lyman Mills, was also treasurer of this firm. The series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
U. Milo T. Crum, 1881-1885
This series is made up of outgoing correspondence relating mainly to fire department matters in Holyoke.
W. Springfield Canal Company, 1833-1846
This series contains a ledger of this firm, entitled "account with James K. Mills, treasurer." Mills was the also the first treasurer of Lyman Mills.
