Deal DescriptionThe Williams Companies used the net proceeds from this transaction to reduce temporarily the indebtedness incurred under revolving bank loans due in 1973 through 1978. Such indebtedness was incurred to refund amounts borrowed under a previous bank loan agreement. The balance of such proceeds was used to replenish working capital utilized upon the acquisition of Agrico Chemical Company and together with any such reborrowings was added to working capital and was available for general corporate purposes.
