Deal DescriptionGreat Northern Paper Company applied the net proceeds to the company's present program for expansion and capital improvements. The program includes the expansion of the company's facilities at Cedar Springs, Georgia, by the addition of two new paper machines. One of these machines was a second linerboard machine having an indicated capacity of 250,000 tons annually and the other, with an indicated capacity of 100,000 tons annually, was used for the production of corrugating medium, the material used along with linerboard in the manufacture of corrugated shipping containers.
