Deal DescriptionFederal Home Loan Banks used the proceeds from this transaction to make additional credit available to their member institutions, pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Home Loan Bank Act, as amended, and for other lawful purposes of the Federal Home Loan Banks. Each bank in the Federal Home Loan Banks System made secured and unsecured loans to member institutions in amounts not in excess of twelve times the amounts paid in by such member for outstanding capital stock in the bank held by it.
