| Deal Description | Crocker-Citizens National Bank was formed as a result of a 1963 merger of Crocker-Anglo National Bank (San Francisco) and Citizens National Bank (Los Angeles). The Board of Directors of the merged bank believed that a substantial increase in the capital accounts of the bank was, at the time, desirable to enable it to take full advantage of its extended geographical coverage and broadened financial base throughout the state and more effectively to participate in those growth trends to the benefit of its shareholders, customers, and the economy of California. |
