Transaction TypeShares of Beneficial Interest / Convertible Subordinated Debentures
Deal DescriptionChase Manhattan Mortgage and Realty Trust invested at least two-thirds of the net proceeds from this transaction in construction loans which had been made or were committed to be made by the advisor or participations in loans or commitments by others. Pending disbursement of funds, which were to be initially invested as described above, such funds may have been temporarily invested in short-term government securities, obligations of the Federal National Mortgage Association, bankers acceptances, certificates of deposit of commercial banks and savings and loan associations, and deposits in members of the Federal Home Loan Bank System. The net proceeds from this offering were held by the trustee in trust in a special account with the advisor. Immediately, and from time to time thereafter, such funds were withdrawn from the special account and used only for the purposes set forth above.
