List of Deals

The IDS Realty Trust was organized in 1971 by the IDC Mortgage Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Investors Diversified Services, to provide investors with the opportunity to invest in a portfolio of real property investments. In January 1972 the company went public with a sale of 2,000,000 units consisting of one share and one warrant. At the time, the intention of the trust was to qualify as a real estate investment trust (REIT). The trust planned to invest initially in a portfolio consisting principally of short-term land development and construction first mortgage loans and to subsequently diversify its portfolio to include equity investments in real estate, long-term first mortgage loans that might be coupled with equity participation, and other types of real property investments.
