Latin American Companies in the Historic Corporate Reports Collection
The Historic Corporate Reports Collection consists of original company documents of a selection of Latin American companies, largely from the twentieth century. The collection includes annual reports, prospectuses, proxies, registration statements, and other company-related publications from approximately 260 companies across Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. It is especially rich in information on railways, public utilities, banks, mining companies, and industrial concerns.
Latin American Material in the Baker Old Class Collection
The Baker Old Class Collection is a valuable resource for tracing the development and growth of Latin American business and industry from the late nineteenth century to the first half of the twentieth century. The collection includes trade and financial publications, government documents, corporate histories and publications, contemporaneous analyses/reports about Latin American markets, and business directories. Some of these documents can only be found at Baker Library. In addition, the unique arrangement of the collection brings together books, periodicals, and pamphlets by industry or topic, allowing researchers to readily browse related research materials.
