The R.G. Dun and Co. Collection is arranged geographically by state, territory, or province. The volumes for each state are further subdivided by county. Separate volumes were often created for cities within a particular county. Alphabetical index volumes exist for each county and/or city. To locate a particular Dun credit report, you must know the county and/or city in which the business was located.
The guide below is a list of the entire R.G. Dun & Co. Collection, arranged geographically. The index volumes for a county or city are usually identified by the term "index." An asterisk (*) indicates that the volume is available on microfilm.
