Fifty Year Restriction
Harvard University regulations require a fifty-year access restriction on all University administrative records unless special permission from appropriate University officials has been obtained.
Specific restrictions may have been applied to certain University records at the time of transfer. All collections are reviewed before access is allowed, and other restrictions can be applied at the discretion of the Historical Collections Department based on preservation and privacy issues.
