| Answer: | In Capital IQ (Use in Internet Explorer):
- Mouse over the Screening and Analytics tab and select Screening > Companies.
- Select an industry
- Click on Ownership and select Pending and Current Sponsor Backed
- Add other criteria if desired, then click on Total Matching Companies at the bottom of the screen to view the results.
In Thomson ONE Banker (Use in Internet Explorer):
- Click on Private Equity from the menu.
- Click on Profiles and then Companies.
- Select your industry using the Portfolio Company menu.
- Select the appropriate investment stage under Firm/Investment details.
- Add other criteria as desired and Execute Search.
